Our skills development program, which involves working with horses, can provide just that.
Horses are incredibly therapeutic animals, and our program combines their healing power with valuable life skills and emotional development opportunities. Watching your child interact with horses, develop their confidence, and experience pure joy is sure to make any parent proud.

This is a unique program designed to help young people develop valuable life skills while working with horses in a fun and engaging way.
Our series sessions run once a week for four weeks and can continue for up to 12 weeks, providing a total of 12 hours of hands-on learning and fun activities each month. Each session is led by Jessica Rosen, who is the owner of Stable Choice and a certified facilitator specializing in equine assisted learning.
During each session, participants will learn a variety of life skills, including communication, leadership, teamwork, problem-solving, and self-awareness. These skills are taught through a range of activities that involve working with horses on the ground, this is NOT a riding program. However, even those with horse experience will learn valuable skills that will deepen their connection with their own horse.
In addition to learning life skills, participants will have the opportunity to form meaningful connections with the horses and other people in their group. This can help build confidence,
improve social skills, and foster a sense of community.
Our sessions are open to young people of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced.
All that is required is a willingness to learn and an interest in working with horses.
